WA PTA Branch

The RTBU WA PTA Branch is the entity which represents members employed in or in connection with the activities of the Public Transport Authority of WA. This can include private sector workers, when their work is tied to the Public Transport Authority, and the WA PTA Branch is always keen to engage with and advance the interests of its membership.

For further detail on the Branch and its workings, please refer to the Rules as available here.

Agreements and details on representatives are found here .

The RTBU WA PTA branch is aligned with the “State Branch” of the RTBU, which is a Registered Organisation with the WA Industrial Relations Commission, for the purpose of representing members in the State Industrial Relations system. The Branch is also registered in the Federal Industrial Relations system, as a branch of the Federal RTBU.

Some private sector employees (e.g. EDI, Spotless, Railtrain etc.) that are represented by the PTA Branch are also allocated within these sub-branches, according to their field of work. Restructuring scheduled for the future is planned to adapt to expansion and shifts in the nature of our growing private sector membership.
