The Rail Tram and Bus Union of WA [RTBUWA] hopes this site provides a good source of information on the history of the Union, general information, latest news and an opportunity for members to contribute in a positive manner towards future campaigns and suggestions on how the union can deliver better services to its membership.

The West Australian Branch is one of six Branches that forms the National Union with a total membership in excess of 30,000 and covers transport workers in the private and public sector for the whole of Australia.

The RTBU has a proud history in the transport industry and has always been at the forefront when embarking on campaigns in relation to industrial, political and policy debates in our field.

We continually strive to improve the pay and conditions of our membership when negotiating with their employers whether in the private of public sector.
